The Daylife Cookbook is a collection of recipes to help you bootstrap applications that use the Daylife platform (DayPI).
These recipes come from Daylifers and the cookbook community, with entries ranging from sample code to tutorials, half baked ideas, and spotlights of the latest deployments of the DayPI.

email is still the least common denominator for devices, especially iphones, blackberries, cell phones, text pagers, PCs - and something you know how to use already with ease.
Our service emphasizes using email as a query tool for news. you can instantiate an account by sending an email w/ the recipient set to my_name_or_group_here@echoshare.com (substitute yours).
The email subject line supplies the news query - in an over-simplified command language. For instance, if the subject is 'create news ' + your search phrase. Then just hit send to your email. You'll get a reply email w/i seconds that has your related news articles formatted for easy reading.
As a bonus, all of your email queries are automatically saved and organized as your's - or your group's shared news and information archive. There are many additional features that complement news retrieval. Such as making your own news, using our email-to-Widget technologies, including creating portlets for photos,video, music, databases and google maps via email.
